#Ultimate Pizza Sauce

This pizza sauce recipe was given to me as a wedding present, written on the inside cover of a pizza cookbook. It is thick, saucy, spicy and delicious. I'll never use anything else on my homemade pizzas. I like to double or triple it and put it in Ziploc bags in my freezer

Ingredients

Vegetarian, Gluten free

∙ Serves 1-2

Produce

• 1 tsp Basil, dried
• 1 Bay leaf, small
• 1/4 cup Celery
• 1 Garlic clove
• 1/2 cup Onion
• 1 tsp Oregano, dried

Canned Goods

• 1 (6 ounce) can Tomato paste

Condiments

• 1 (8 ounce) can Tomato sauce

Baking & Spices

• 1/4 tsp Black pepper
• 1 tsp Fennel seed
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1/2 tsp Sugar

Oils & Vinegars

• 2 tbsp Olive oil

Dairy

• 1 tbsp Butter
• 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
