#Sheng Jian Bao: Pan-fried pork buns


Tasty, moist pork wrapped with half-soft, half-crispy dough, Shanghai pan-fried pork buns, traditionally served as breakfast, make a great party food.
Ingredients
∙ Makes 20 buns

  • 250 g Pork
Produce
  • 1/2 tbsp Ginger
  • 2 stalks Spring onion

  • 2 tsp Soy sauce, light
Baking & Spices
  • 250 g All purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Instant yeast, dried
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 Sesame seeds, Toasted
  • 1 pinch Sichuan pepper, ground
  • 1 tsp Sugar
Oils & Vinegars
  • 1 tbsp Cooking oil
  • 1/2 tsp Sesame oil, pure
Beer, Wine & Liquor
  • 1/2 tsp Shaoxing rice wine
Liquids
  • 454 ml Water
