#BEST Slow Cooker Pot Roast

The BEST slow cooker post roast EVER!

Ingredients

∙ Serves 8

Meat

• 2 strips Bacon
• 4 lb Beef round roast or chuck

Produce

• 1/4 tsp Basil
• 2 Bay leaves
• 2 Carrots
• 2 stalks Celery
• 2 cloves Garlic
• 1 tsp Garlic powder
• 1/4 tsp Oregano
• 1/4 tsp Parsley
• 1/4 tsp Rosemary
• 1/4 tsp Thyme
• 1 Yellow onion

Canned Goods

• 2 1/2 cups Beef broth
• 2 tbsp Tomato paste

Baking & Spices

• 5 tbsp All-purpose flour mixed into a slurry with
• 3/4 tsp Black pepper, freshly ground
• 2 tbsp Paprika, sweet
• 2 1/4 tsp Salt

Oils & Vinegars

• 2 tbsp Oil

Beer, Wine & Liquor

• 1/2 cup Red wine, dry
