PINEAPPLE CHICKEN KABOBS


Ingredients
4 chicken breasts, cubed
Cubed pineapple, about 2 cups
2 small purple onion, quartered
2 small red pepper, quartered,
6 slices uncooked bacon, halved
For the BBQ Sauce
1 large jalapeno, diced
1 cup ketchup
2 cloves minced garlic
⅓ cup honey
2 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon dried mustard
1 ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
Preheat an outdoor grill to medium heat (make sure your grill grates are spray with non-stick spray).
Thread skewers with chicken, pineapple, onion peppers, half a strip of bacon; repeat.
Repeat process with the remaining ingredients and skewers.
Place kabobs on the grill. Cook for 10 minutes, rotate and cook another 10-15 minutes.
While kabobs are on the grill, prepare the BBQ sauce; in a small saucepan, combine the jalapeno, ketchup, garlic honey, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce, whisk until combined. Cook sauce for another 10 minutes or until slightly thick.
Baste the kabobs with the bbq sauce during the last few minutes of grilling.

Notes
If using wooden skewers, soak the skewers for at least 30 minutes prior to using.
