#Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup: In an Instant Pot or On the Stove


Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup is a perfect orchestration of tender beef, a rich and slightly spicy broth, fresh noodles, a little bok choy, and that absolutely necessary fistful of Chinese pickled mustard greens and fresh scallions and cilantro.

  • 4 Chilies, dried
  • 1 Chinese aromatic herb
  • 1 Cilantro
  • 6 cloves Garlic
  • 1 2-inch piece Ginger
  • 4 Green onion
  • 1 Onion, wedges
  • 1 Pickled mustard greens
  • 1 Tomato, wedges

  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste

  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce

  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 Chinese cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp Coriander seeds
  • 1 tbsp Fennel seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Five spice powder

  • 2 tsp Sugar
