Carolina #Style #Hot #Dogs

Yummy Carolina Style Hot Dogs are grilled and covered in beefy homemade chili and creamy cole slaw, and then sprinkles with finely diced onions. A Carolina summer tradition!

Ingredients

∙ Makes 8 hot dogs

Meat

• 8 All beef hot dogs
• 1 lb Ground beef, lean
• 8 Hot dog buns

Produce

• 1 1/4 cup Cabbage
• 1/4 cup Carrots
• 1 Cayenne or red chili flakes
• 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
• 5/16 cup Onion
• 1/2 tsp Onion powder
• 1 tsp Oregano
• 1/4 cup Red cabbage
• 1 (15 ounce) can Tomatoes

Canned Goods

• 1 cup Broth

Condiments

• 1 Ketchup & mustard
• 1/4 cup Mayo

Baking & Spices

• 1/2 tsp Black pepper
• 1 tsp Brown sugar
• 2 tbsp Chili powder
• 1 tbsp Granulated sugar
• 1 tsp Paprika
• 1/2 tsp Salt

Oils & Vinegars

• 1/2 tbsp Canola oil
• 1 tbsp Cider vinegar

Nuts & Seeds

• 1 tsp Cumin
